The study of the universe does more than teach us about stars, planets and galaxies. Astronomy also ties in to science, math, art and literature, and helps students better understand humanity's place in the cosmos.

The most popular program to meet the needs of most scout groups is our live presentation The Starry Skies. This will introduce the seasonal constellations, lunar phases, visible planets, and other topics typically needed for badge and patch requirements.

All programs are led by one of our knowledgeable planetarium educators and any of our school programs can be adapted to your scouting needs.

Programs last approximately 1-hour and can be scheduled for afterschool or evening hours. A Star Tellers program can also be a great addition to a science or family night event.
